Los Angeles Sketches: A Green Winter Day

Contrary to most of the country, Los Angeles is lush with greenery in winter, after a brief and rare rain drenches the otherwise dry and brownish landscape. Here is a view from Kenneth Hahn park. Yes, that's an oil rig in the background - just a reminder that you're in a oasis right in the middle of the city.

Los Angeles Sketches: Snow!?

Thought I'd post a sort of a seasonal sketch here...This is a sketch from when I visited Palm Springs, which is about two-hours' drive east of Los Angeles - yes, it's in the desert, but there was snow in the mountains. It's quite amazing!

Megan Good Painting! I am back!

Done in photoshop cs2 with my wacom tablet. Yeah I upgraded my photoshop but still use my ps7 brushes in the new one. This is the first full painting on my new built computer. I built this on the livingroom floor lol. I also just got this new sata hard drive and it is quick! More art coming from me soon! I am not dead lol

Totoro Forest Project!

The "Totoro Forest Project" - The project is an international charity effort to save Sayama forest in Japan - it's the same forest inspired the beloved Studio Ghibli film, My Neighbor Totoro. The project is organized by DiceTsutsumi. There will be a benefit auction at Pixar on September 6th, and an artworks featuring all the 200 beautiful artworks will be available at the event as well!!
